I met the Bean Dip Crew, actually Bill, at the MAGIC convention a couple years ago. We met on the Las Vegas strip sharing cabs and getting kicked out of cabs, club-hopping at all the wonderful parties. As time passed over the years, we finally came together to create a masterpiece, “Chilly-Dip!” Here goes a sneak preview in the lab of the first prototype…

After constant debate over the question, “Should we f–k with the Magic Convention?” We finally came up with a decision. We will go, but we won’t invest in a booth. Done! These are the Pros and Cons that went into the verdict:
Pro’s
- Think Positive, be present and reduce real estaste overhead.
- Focus on the resources(i.e. sourcing, licensing), instead of the buying market.
- Show Face
Con’s
- Slow buyers market and oversaturated market.
- Help Magic invest in transitional costs moving from urban to street culture.
- Travel Cost
If we are going to bounce this economy back we have to continue to partake in the market whether it would be from a minimal position or an aggressive standpoint. A minimal postion would be considered just showing up and saying, “Hey!”
