Spot Check: Decatur Skate Park

Nestled in the former East Lake Meadows, now known as the Oakhurst community, you can find a cool in town spot off of Oakview Road.  It’s been around for awhile, I’m just getting on to it. A lot of heads are always out there because of the convenience to the city. It’s a very basic park, but it cool around 7 pm when the sun goes down to get some skating or riding in, which ever you prefer. Just find McKoy Park or ask around and, check it out!     Reese

House Party?

It is almost inevitable to see reminiscing scenes from the 90’s era show up lately, but what part of the 90’s are we seeing? Note, the 80’s retro fad is finito! But the great part about the 80’s craze that popped off, is the “baby boomers” made it an official fashion rule instead of a novelty! Even though you may see this movement reprise again in mainstream contemporary, street, high fashion or futuristic…they made it fresh again and owned it. You can thank Hip-Hop for that, Wow! Earlier we did a scene report called “Hollywood High” in Los Angeles; now we move on to “House Party” while in New York City. I noticed a lot of early 90’s influence circa ‘90-’91 to answer the question. Will it fly, who knowz? But remember the 90’s from what I can recall was, “in like a lion and out like a lamb!” Oh yeah, for my hard-core, rhymes galore types…sorry, these shots were strictly from lower Manhattan. Catch on later. A-town we got you next…we are going to shock the world with ya’ll…teach them ’bout that prep!!!

Don’t forget how to party!!!
