Getting called Skateboard P is cool, but ReeseFresh is cooler…

Ok people….so lets set one thing straight about Chilly-O. All too often we get called a random “Skateboard P” here and there or “ok I understand, ya’ll motherf@#kers on some skateboard shit” because they  like unfamiliar things.  What we say is “Thank You.” Just because we like skateboard culture doesn’t mean….”that is all we do, Damn!” For crying out loud Kevin Taylor, Zoo York was my neighbor as a kid! Not only do we like skateboarding, we like volumes of other things that will certainly be introduced to you in a second.

Everybody listen, haters stop making stuff up, and ladies don’t get your panties too wet, lol. Chilly-O is a bonafide brand and has been a movement for awhile with actual people….a cool eclectic vibe of edge, hip-hop, apparel, action, thrills, bikers, intellectualism, sex-appeal,skaters, fun, art, alcohol, neighborhood living, travel, star-appeal…that’s keeping it simple.

We think big, use what we got and we are growing so… we are too large for a box.  If you would just stick your head in the city of Atlanta and peep, you will see we have the #1 airport! Do we need to go any further, cause you know we like to break it down and build it up! Good. For all those who are listening, we are a lifestyle brand defined by the people who enjoy the simple things we enjoy while balancing the dichotomy of sub-culuture and mainstream trends that create a balance for you.

Mouth Full!! Now, one of the things we especially enjoy is the art-form and photographic solitude of Bicycle Motocross aka BMX.

We would like to spotlight a talented individual from New Haven,CT who we feel like the world needs to meet. His struggle is no different from the guy who is spittin in a cipher trying to get his album played by a political DJ, or one of the many T-shirts lines getting passed around to become the next great. He goes hard and answers to no one except the struggle of progression. He goes by ReeseFresh, and he is solidifying his spot in the world by doing him.   Newsflash: The days of getting rich by becoming a rapper or a football player is an obsolete way of thinking. We are in the business of creating new lanes.   Listen to what ReeseFresh has to say but more importantly look at how he cracks the invisible ceiling like Jackie Robinson did home runs in baseball….Chilly-O introduces the invincible, the undeniable, our Brother from another Mother…….ReeeeeeeeeeeeseFresh!

Who are you?

I am just someone who loves to express my feelings on a bike!

How did you get into the sport of BMX?

I grew up in the country and out of all the sports that were available, riding a bike felt better. Why?  Because I didn’t have to depend on nobody like other sports. I got inspired by these old BMX videos that used to be in our local video rental spot. I eventually got involved. So, I like to feel like I grew up in BMX culture, especially as it is known as today.

Your favorite rider?

My boy Sean and all the old skool rides that paved the way for BMX, hands down!

What kind of music do you listen to?

Rap, R and B, and a little rock. Mostly, what I feel that day.

How have African Americans affected the sport of BMX?

Alot! We have been raising the bar, I would say, for about 4 years now. Showing people that we can do more than just the typecasted basketball, rap and/or crime. With our style and fashion in the underworld,”aka BMX Street and Dirt Jumping,” we are here now! The beauty of it all, is it’s in a good and positive way.

I noticed progression is very important in the sport, how do you keep your drive and how is your style described?

Lol, progression is not only important; it’s a must. First of all, it definitely has to be in you to want to learn new things. Even when learning a new trick; you find out more about your self that you didn’t know. Secondly, when it comes to me, I put my heart into the way I ride. People say my style is “smooth” and “out-the-box.” I like to see things differently!

What’s your favorite food?

Home cooked food.

How much should first place be in competitions?

Depends on the Comp, Lol!

What’s ya favorite pick up line with the ladies?

“Hey Baaabe, would you like cheese with that!” Lol, I’m just playin…I don’t have one.

Shout outs?

My Daughter and Son…I love you all, AMPM the Movement aka Mr. Joey P, College Street Cycles and Drop Out BMX, New Haven all daaaayyy…that where I’m from, All my Family…get well Nana, I love you Mother, Get Money Dee…my Father, Free Andre and Kenneth, GOD, last but not least….Chilly-O for holding me down, believing in me and giving me a chance!!!
